Hiking is definitely the main draw of Hocking Hills...
thanks to the unique rock formations, caves, and forests that can be found throughout the park. The park has six main hiking areas, with most of them centered around natural sandstone rock formations.
There's a place called Old Man's Cave that is BREATHTAKINGLY beautiful and worth a photo. We haven't seen it in person, but from what's been shared, WE HAVE TO GO! The cave is named as such because of a hermit named Richard Rowe who lived in the cave there back in the early 1800s.
Ash Cave is another Hocking Hills favorite. A majority of the photos you see from Hocking Hills are that of the waterfall pouring over the cave.
The midwest is gorgeous! What adventures have you completed in Ohio and which of those would you recommend?
